Should the year mentioned by Yente be correct, the magazine must be Arturo, for No. 1 of Arte Concreto-Invención issues no earlier than August 1946. But there’s the possibility the meeting had taken place in 1946, for in a draft of this text, belonging to her personal files, Yente states that the messenger is “the tallest and most reserved”, certainly referring to Maldonado, and the artists joining Yente and Del Prete in their 1946 and 1949 exhibitions are, exclusively, members of the Asociación Arte Concreto-Invención.
