Publications such as the Italian magazine Noi are imported to Buenos Aires. At the same time, issues of the German magazine Simplicissimus also become available. Pettoruti is again the one who describes in this autobiography, that the painter Roberto Rossi had found several issues of this magazine hidden under the floor in a small workshop that he rented with a friend in La Boca. The circulation of texts such as Magic Realism by Franz Roh, translated in the Occidente magazine (1926), offer more references about the different levels of impact that modern art made in Buenos Aires.
