This dossier covers forty years of Norberto Gómez’s work, from his minimalist constructions of 1966 and 1967 to the anti-monuments he produced in polyester and bronze in the nineties. In between, his series of “guts”, organic remains, weapons and “plasters” punctuate a long career that has enriched the Argentine art scene.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the objective of promoting national art, Plástica argentina. Selección de obras de la Colección del Citibank tours around Rio de Janeiro, Caracas, Mexico, Lima, Bogota, Asunción del Paraguay and Montevideo for two years. As well as Gómez’s works, the show features work by Eduardo Audivert, Badii, Bedel, Benedit, Alicia Díaz Rinaldi, Ana Eckell, Manuel Espinosa, Héctor Giuffré, Heredia, Kenneth Kemble, Macció, Mac Entyre, Matilde Marín, Eduardo y Héctor Médici, Florencio Méndez Casariego, Margarita Paksa, Alejandro Puente, Josefina Robirosa, Enrique Torroja, Miguel Ángel Vidal, and Graciela Zar, amongst others.
