Paintings, engravings, collages and objects performed between 1922 and 1965 constituted the large retrospective he presented at the Instituto Di Tella in Buenos Aires. Two series of big constructions concluded this year outstand: Los monstruos del infierno se disputan a Ramona, formed by La voracidad and La hipocresía, –where his heroine is a social victim of these vices– and Monstruos cósmicos consisting of La sordidez, El pájaro amenazador, Conquistadores interplanetarios colonizan a los terráqueos and El gusano triunfador. The show was performed later at the Museo Provincial de Bellas Artes “Emilio Caraffa” in Córdoba and the Museo Provincial de Bellas Artes “Rosa Galisteo de Rodríguez” in Santa Fe.
With Matador Berni is awarded the Prize of the Cultural Commission at the Ljubljana International Biennial of Graphic Art and he is appointed Honorary Member of the Accademia delle Arti del Disegno in Florence.
He took part together with Armand, Arroyo, Baj, Hultén, Klein, Kosice, Le Parc, Pistoletto, Rotella, Saint Phalle, and Tinguely,
