Bergara Leumann and Berni
Bergara Leumann and Berni

He was awarded an engraving prize at the I International Biennial of Krakow, Poland. He realized an individual show at the Due Mondi Gallery of Rome, for the catalog of which Mario de Micheli wrote “Saluto a Berni”. He exhibited at the Galería de las Artes, Buenos Aires, where the engravings portfolio Ramona Montiel with texts by Ernesto Sabato and Ernesto Schóo, edited by El Mate, was introduced. He took part as a special guest in Plástica con plásticos organized by the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de Buenos Aires, where he presented a monster formed by synthetic elements.
He made La casa de Ramona, in a sector of the newly opened building of La Botica del Ángel (670 Lima Street, Buenos Aires). This particular cultural space created by Eduardo Bergara Leumann hosted, among other artistic contributions, this sort of setting rehearsal, ancestor of Ramona en la caverna.
The documentary Berni 1922-1965 directed by Juan José Stagnaro was released with a very favorable reception in the Mar del Plata International Film Festival.
