He takes part in the show De Dios, el hombre y la vida (“Of God, Man and Life”), at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, and in La Escultura. Singularidades de un lenguaje (“Sculpture. Speficics of a Language”), at the Fundación Federico J. Klemm in Buenos Aires.
From the 4th to the 29th of October he has a retrospective of the last twenty years of his work at the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires. The exhibition, dedicated to the memory of Ricardo Martín-Rosa and Miguel Briante, friends of the artist and critics who followed his work and analysed it perceptively, becomes one of the main artistic events of the season, and the following year is awarded the best exhibition prize by the Asociación Argentina de Críticos de Arte. Some forty works map his different periods, from the partly softened geometrical bodies of 1976 to the sculptures in plaster and drawings of 1995.
