El niño Antonio Berni y sus cuadros (The Boy Antonio Berni and his Paintings), performed in September at the Salón Witcomb of Rosario, was enthousiastically greeted and became a sales success. Thirty works were exhibited, among landscapes, still lifes, figures and skies. Next year, in August, Berni exposed in this same gallery thirty eight works, intensifying on the subject of landscapes. With three of these –Jardín, Chalet del lago (Fisherton) and Ranchito nacional– he participated in the V Salón de Otoño de Rosario, a contest of which he would be an asiduous attendant ever since.
