The dossier on Juan Carlos Distéfano spans from the time of his beginnings

His daughter Andrea is born on 8 November. He receives the impact of Neo-Figurativism. He discovers the works of Rómulo Macció, Luis Felipe Noé, Jorge de la Vega and Ernesto Deira, who held their first group exhibition –Otra figuración (Another figurativism)– in Salón Peuser during the month of August. In December, Distéfano and Macció present Dos diseñadores gráficos. Macció, Distéfano (Two graphic designers. Macció, Distéfano) in Galería Kala on Montevideo Street. In the introduction, Sigwart Blum highlights the talents of both artists and how their work overlaps with the development of media.
