As a commemoration of the birth of Antonio Berni (1905-1981) we offer a broad panorama of his life and his production. Through a thematic study, a chronology and several reproductions and documentary images, we travel across the work of this remarkable creator, one of the most outstanding artists in Argentina and Latin America.

He published "Brevísima historia de la pintura moderna" in the weekly Renovación of Lomas de Zamora, an outskirt of Buenos Aires city.
He exhibited oils and temperas in Amigos del Arte of Montevideo. At the Círculo de Bellas Artes in this town he delivered the lecture "Arte y sujeto".
At the II Salón de Grabado de Buenos Aires he presented lithographies; at the XXVIII Salón Nacional, the painting Club Atlético Nueva Chicago and at the I Salón de Bellas Artes de Tandil, El gato gris, bought to be kept in this city’s museum.
