As a commemoration of the birth of Antonio Berni (1905-1981) we offer a broad panorama of his life and his production. Through a thematic study, a chronology and several reproductions and documentary images, we travel across the work of this remarkable creator, one of the most outstanding artists in Argentina and Latin America.

The work of the Taller
de Arte Mural
 
Editorial Kraft published Antonio Berni, an essay by the critic Geo Dorival. On his part, Berni wrote “Pancho Fierro” for the Correo Literario magazine.
With Spilimbergo, Castagnino, Urruchúa and Colmeiro, he created the first Taller de Arte Mural, the objective of which was to impel public art so as to let it participate of everyday life, becoming a presence in places of work, transit, study and recreation.
He took part in the III Salón de Arte de Mar del Plata with the oil Maca and in the XXXIV Salón Nacional with La rubia and Pensativo.
