In order to celebrate the Hundredth Anniversary of the May Revolution, the “International Centenial Art Exhibit” is organized, the first plastic arts exhibition of its kind, entirely sponsored by the Argentine government. Artists from Germany, Austria, Hungary, Belgium, Chile, Spain, United States, France, Great Britain, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden and Uruguay were officially invited to show their work. Argentine art is represented by Schiaffino, Sívori, Collivadino, Rossi, Navazio, Eugenio Daneri and Pedro Zonza Briano, among others.

Twenty six artists exhibit at the Sociedad Ligure de Mutuo Socorro de La Boca in commemoration of the XXV anniversary of the institution. Quinquela Martín, Santiago Stagnaro, Vicente Vento, Arturo Maresca and other students of Alfredo Lazzari, present their work.
