As a commemoration of the birth of Antonio Berni (1905-1981) we offer a broad panorama of his life and his production. Through a thematic study, a chronology and several reproductions and documentary images, we travel across the work of this remarkable creator, one of the most outstanding artists in Argentina and Latin America.

was placed at the Asociación del Magisterio de Rosario, after being part of the XIV Salón de Otoño in that city. Berni was awarded at this salon the Premio Adquisición with Portrait, for which Paule served as model, and which the Museo de Bellas Artes Juan B. Castagnino incorporated.
With Figura, known as La mujer del sweater rojo (portrait of Nina Terré, a friend of the family in Rosario), he reappeared at the Salón Nacional. However, Desocupación –which was also submitted– failed to be selected. This work, together with those of other rejected artists, was exhibited at the Primer Salón de Arte of the AIAPE (Agrupación de Intelectuales, Artistas, Periodistas y Escritores / Intellectuals, Artists, Journalists and Writers Group), performed at the Concejo Deliberante de Buenos Aires in support for "the defense of public liberties and the fight against fascism".
With painters Badi, Basaldúa, Butler, Gómez Cornet, Pettoruti and Spilimbergo he exposed at the show Siete pintores argentinos, in Amigos del Arte, Buenos Aires.
