The Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes purchases the diptych Ladders –relief made in 1967 with reinforced polyester, glass veil and painted with tempera grassa– for its collection.
As a result of the closure of the art centres of the Di Tella Institute, the Departament of Graphic Design is dissolved. Together with Rubén Fontana, he opens up the Estudio de Comunicación Visual Distéfano + Fontana that runs until 1976, year in which he abandons this activity to devote himself to art, exclusively.
