In Paris, Del Petre takes part in the Abstraction/Creation Art non Figuratif Group, together with Arp, Mondrian, Calder and Vantongerloo, among others. At the same time, he participates in the second issue of the magazine edited by this group.
Under his own initiative, Guttero, with the objective to “go back to the true teachings which prove that vanguard art is the only one that has returned to the old and classic teachings, placing those who study it before the true problem of synthesis that eliminates the false concept of objective reality taking it to a plane of expressive reality”, organizes in the month of April, the Free Courses of Plastic Art, held together with Raquel Forner, Alfredo Bigatti, and Pedro Domínguez Neira.
On December 1, Alfredo Guttero passes away in Buenos Aires.
