Del Petre returns to Buenos Aires and exhibits his paintings and non figurative collages at the Asociación Amigos del Arte. It was the first exhibit organized in our country, fully dedicated to abstract art.

On April 1, Quinquela Martin donates a piece of land situated on Pedro de Mendoza between Palos and Del Crucero streets. The construction of a three story building, which still stands today, is begun to house a primary school and the Museo de Bellas Artes de La Boca.
