This page offers a panorama of Argentine visual art during the 20 th Century. Amigos del Arte holds an exhibition of oils, collages and surrealist photomontages by Antonio Berni, most of which works were produced upon his return from Europe in 1930.
Raquel Forner, Pedro Domínguez Neira, Alfredo Bigatti and Alfredo Guttero, who dies that year, initiates the Cursos Libres de Arte Plástico in the Barolo Passage, this being the first studio to introduce this type of teaching in Argentina.
The Museo Provincial de Bellas Artes in La Plata, directed by Pettoruti since 1930, acquires Palacio in Bría by Xul Solar.
