In Rosario, the Litoral Group is formed by Leónidas Gambartes, Francisco García Carrera, Domingo Garrone, Juan Grela, Gutiérrez Almada, Oscar Herrero Miranda, S. Minturn Zerva, Alberto Pedrotti, Hugo Ottmann, Carlos Uriarte and Ricardo Warecki. Shortly afterwards, Pedro Giacaglia, Froilán Ludueña and Arturo Ventresca join the group. This is one of the few cases in which an artistic group of provincial origin obtains national recognition, holding exhibitions in Santa Fe, Córdoba, Tucumán, Resistencia and Buenos Aires.
Lozza publishes the 1st issue of the magazine Perceptismo.
Fontana is distinguished for his sculptural work with the Palanza Prize, awarded by the National Academy of Fine Arts.
