Sculptor Norberto Gómez exhibits Las tripas series at Galería Arte Nuevo. These pieces made of resin polyester allude to knotted and twisted viscera, like fragments of an injured body.
Juan Carlos Distéfano, from exile, confronts the subject of the oppression by the military dictatorship that broke over Argentina. Sculptures such as Icarus II and El rey y la reina II, produced that year, depict his concern about human vulnerability in the face of brute force.
The Museo de Arte Moderno presents the exhibition entitled 18 esculturas para la ciudad in Florida Street with works by Badii, Blaszko, Davite, Gamarra, Gerstein, Giangrande, García Reinoso, Grippo, Heras Velasco, Heredia, Iommi, Nicolás Giménez, Kosice, de la Mota, Puente, Sabelli, Testa and Wells.
