Reuniting art with daily life, Greco produces his first Vivo Dito in Paris where, uninvited, he attends the Antagonisms Show 2. The Object. On that occasion, as a sandwich-man, he carries a poster with the caption "Alberto Greco, un-catalogued work" and distributes a card on which he appears as "Alberto Greco. Objet d'Art". In Genoa, he publishes his Manifesto Dito dell'Arte Vivo.
In connection with the development of objectualism, Emilio Renart works on the Integralismo Bio-Cosmos series, exhibiting the 1st of the series at Galería Pizarro.
The first Biennial of American Art, sponsored by Kaiser Industries, is held Córdoba city. Raquel Forner is awarded the Grand Prix for her Series Espaciales.
